Matej was born in Czech Republic. He received a Master’s Degree in Architecture at the ETH Zürich and is now working with agps architecture and teaching at the chair of Prof. Dr. Marc Angélil.

Previously he worked at the chair of Architecture and Art of Prof. Karin Sander in teaching, preparing exhibitions and research and in architectural studios in Prague and Zürich. With studio mach he was working on a series of smaller realizations, studies and experimental interdisciplinary projects.
