This project investigates the phenomena, potentials and problems of the Venetian sprawl, and in particular the evolution of the Autostrada Alemagna A27 to Superstrada as a case study.
Strategies and planning methods will be examined, which function elastically between spatial densification and sprawling and generate hybrid micro and macro networks. In so doing, we hope to gain insight into how the rapidly growing sprawl of these economically global villages function in a planning context between authoritative control and laissez faire.
Das Projekt untersucht Phänomene, Potentiale und Gefahren der venetischen Zersiedlung. Die Evolution der Autostrada Alemagna A27 zur Superstrada steht dabei als Fallstudie im Vordergrund.
In der Vertiefung werden Strategien und Planungsmethoden untersucht, die elastisch im Prozess zwischen räumlicher Verdichtung und Streuung funktionieren und hybride Mikro- wie Makronetzwerke generieren. Dabei interessiert unter anderem der rapide anwachsende ‚Sprawl’ der venetischen, wirtschaftlich global agierenden Dörfer im Kontext der planerischen Steuerung zwischen Kontrolle und Laissez Faire.
