If you are an ETH Student you can ask for a personal e-mail account over EZINFO. All you need to do is have your Student ID number ready and click on the following link to ezinfo.ethz.ch:

Yes, I want to have my own E-mail account!

Then just follow the directions that will appear on the new window.
