Ying Zhou (B.S.E., M. Arch.) is an architect at the Urban Design Resources and Strategies Module of the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL), Singapore ETH Center. She was a lecturer and researcher with ETH Studio Basel 2007-2011, leading studios on Kolkata, Damascus, and Cairo. She published in Critical Planning, Monu, Urban China, and exhibited at Haus der Kunst in Munich. Born in Shanghai, Ying holds a B.S.E. in Architecture and Engineering from Princeton, a M. Arch. from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard and was a Fulbright fellow at the University of Stuttgart. She taught and practiced in New York, Shanghai, Detroit, Boston and Basel.
