Mediators The mediator in the network supports direct user-to-user communication as well as data exchange between delegates, specifically, between presenters and facilitators. |
All information residing in the database is classified into the following three sections: personal information, common project information, and the project data entities. Each of the facilitators deals with one of these sections, they communicate with each other and exchange data when necessary. | A delegate may register to the mediator. The mediator can inform a registered delegate of all other registrations and forward data to any other registered delegate. | ||

Representatives Each representative maintains the user's preferences with respect to a particular functionality. |
In the current implementation, these functionalities are the Partners, Talk, Mall, Data and News pages. Each of these pages is presented according to the user's preferences, as specified by the corresponding representatives. | There is an almost direct correspondence between the representatives and presenters, where each representative deals with the request and the presenter with the visualization aspects of the particular functionality. An additional representative constitutes the direct communication interface to the other users on the network. |
