The Architecture Prize Beton has been awarded every four years since 1977. The competition aims to promote outstanding creativity with concrete. For more than four decades, it has occupied a special place among the Swiss architecture prizes in terms of its orientation and content. It reflects the building industry in Switzerland, inspires the discourse on good architecture and shows the creative potential of concrete as a building material.
