Peter Steiger (*1928), son of the artist couple Rudolf Steiger and Flora Steiger-Crawford, has had a major influence on the Swiss residential and architectural landscape with his buildings, often commissioned by large companies such as CERN, IBM or Göhner. In addition to the architect, who gives exciting and surprising glimpses behind the scenes in a self-critically depicted autobiography, various authors comment on and analyse Peter Steiger’s achievements in the fields of sustainable building, local planning and architecture. A detailed catalogue of works concludes the publication.
