Order

Built in Zurich in 1938/39, the Hallenstadion set international standards in terms of architecture and engineering technology as Europe’s largest hall at the time. With the extension and renovation of the sports building by the architects Pfister Schiess Tropeano, completed in summer 2005, a pragmatic structural adaptation to modern requirements has taken place and, in addition, a tribute to the Hallenstadion monument has been created.
