The architect and designer Harry Rosenthal was one of the most important representatives of German Modernism in the 1920s and early 1930s. However, his career was abruptly interrupted when the National Socialists came to power in 1933. The publication reconstructs Rosenthal’s work as an architect and interior designer in Germany, Palestine and Great Britain and thus makes a differentiated contribution to the social history of the 20th century.
