Max Vogt (1925–2019) erected well over 100 buildings for the Swiss Federal Railway between 1957 and 1990. The Zurich photographer Martin Stollenwerk (*1962) has captured Vogt’s functional concrete sculptures in their haunting presence and created an impressive portrait of this ‘model settlement’ of the SBB, one of the most important representatives of radical Swiss post-war architecture.
