In the MAS colloquia basic algorithms for design purposes and their potential for architecture will be discussed. Furthermore, lectures on themes in the realm of the digital will be given with the goal to integrate the content of the modules and the learnd skills into an architectural discourse: for example the break down of the division between designing and making because of the developments in computer-aided design and manufacturing or the phenomena of emergence in complex systems of organization and its use as morphogenetic design strategy.
