Colorconfigurator

It is generally accepted that the interior design of a spacecraft should have built in flexibility. Such flexibility could include that use if movable partitions, removable wall covers, projectable designs, etc. It can be assumed that, in space al elsewhere, there is a general aversion to sameness. Visual variety can be introduced through the judicious use of texture or color (Living Aloft, 1985 (i). Within a zero gravity environment, coloring can stimulate orientation, a specific atmosphere or individual needs of an individual crew member within there personal quarter. The psychological effects of working and living a spatially restricted environment, with a restricted angle of vision and under stressful conditions for a prolonged period need to be further investigated perhaps in relation to a color-matching method, to ascertain a favorable palette of colors.
