Digital paper

DongYounSHIN
Many of architects who had built buildings with the basic principal of domino system that came from Le Corbusier are trying to looking for new style one. Getting their aim, I tried categorizing in two ways. Processing with new digital equipment and material, it is one and the other is still analogue way using just by their sense of space and hand. Again, the former designing with digital outfit also can be divided two big parts. One is design by programming language with special algorisms, and the other is just sketching by 3D-programs. The latter, sketching with 3D-programs, is located between digital and analogue way, somewhat. It has advantages; we can control the final cut more immediately and can be displayed more designers aesthetic ability. What we imagine, what we want to make but it is hard to draw just on a flat paper can be simulated by 3D sketch easily. Using many functions still included the 3D-program for deformation are also can give divers alternatives. In this module I want to concentrate this part the digital sketch. Especially, sketching by computer and deformation with the functions it has already.
