Seminar Week Spring Semester 2011
We‘ll travel from Copenhagen to Stockholm and make a tour of Skåne in southern Sweden along the way. In Skåne we will visit Sankt Petri church in Klippan by Sigurd Lewerentz, an extraordinary building of dark brick and glued on windows. Also by Lewerentz is the Malmö cemetery with its two churches and iconic flower shop. In central Malmö is Klas Anshelm’s Konsthall (pictured), a kind of unconscious master work.
In Lund there is another Konsthall and the Stadshallen also by Anshelm. In Stockholm we plan to visit Peter Celsing’s Kulturhuset and Riksbanken, as well as his Filmhuset a little way out of town.
On the way there will be other buildings...

Budget Category E: CHF 1‘001 - 1‘500. Costs include flights to Copenhagen and from Stockholm, train and coach trips in Denmark and Skåne, train from Malmö to Stockholm, museum tickets, tours, documentation and accomodation.
