Ursula (Ulla) Bein completed her vocational training at Backhaus bookstore in Aachen with a focus on literature, humanities and fine arts. She then worked there as head of procurement and from 1999 to 2006 as managing director. Ulla Bein joined the gta Verlag as marketing and sales director in 2007.
