PiViSA: A Privacy Enhancement System for Video Surveilled Spaces
This wiki provides information on a Privacy Enhancement System. Research on this is part of the ETH research project blue-c-II. It is one example application for the use of latest video technologies.

The videos have been taken at the chair for CAAD where a permanent demo of the system is running. Persons walking through the observed area have the possibility to control if they will appear obscured by a block filter or clear on the streamed video.
The project was presented at the UKUUG Linux Summer Conference 2006 in Brighton, UK and at Privacy, Security and Trust 2006 in Markham/Toronto, Canada.
