  • Study of Computer Science at the University of Kaiserslautern
  • Unix and Linux administrator, programmer and enthusiast
  • From 08/2001 to 8/2005 employed as researcher at the chair of CAAD | Areas of activity:
  • Main Research Topic: Privacy Enhancement for Video Surveilled Spaces

Projects:

  • Research on Privacy in Video Surveilled Spaces, using video processing and cryptographic components to give observed persons control over their images
  • Within blue-c-II the ViRoom is a framework developped by CVL used in my privacy project as well
  • The future might foster intelligent building, which we researched in the context of a next generation lecture hall in project Building IP.
  • Replay bild-o-mat was a class on image browsers
  • The EasyProjector is a flash based image browser for easyDB
  • A small project on colorspaces in one of my favorite languages: PerlColor
  • The CAAD chair runs it's own Infrastructure
  • To become a PhD? at ETH you have to follow some Administrativa
