 Fabian Scheurer Dipl. Inform. (Univ.) scheurer@designtoproduction.com Fabian Scheurer (Munich, Germany 1969) graduated from Technical University of Munich (TUM) after studying Computer Sciences and Architecture. He worked as assistant at the CAAD chair of TU-Munich, as software developer at Nemetschek Programmsystem GmbH and as new media consultant for Eclat . brand matters in Zurich. Since 2002 he is researching and lecturing as an assistant at the Chair of CAAD at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). His scientific work is focused on the practical aspects of artificial-life methods in architectural construction and has been applied to a number of collaborative projects between architects, engineers, and fabrication experts. He is a member of the Assiociation for Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA). |
 Christoph Schindler Dipl.-Ing. Architekt SIA schindler@designtoproduction.com Christoph Schindler (Erlangen, Germany 1973) studied architecture at University of Kaiserslautern (D). He worked as an architect in the offices Mahler Günster Fuchs Stuttgart, Marble Fairbanks New York, MVRDV Rotterdam and is co-founder and partner at schindlersalmerón architecture + product design in Zürich. He was teaching for six years at Prof. Dr. Ludger Hovestadt's Chair of CAAD at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich), where he is currently working on a PhD on "Computer aided realization of complex architectural form in timber construction". In 2005 he co-founds designtoproduction as a research group at the Chair of CAAD. He was guest teacher for the realization of 1:1 projects at several universities. Christoph Schindler is member of ACADIA, SAH, Lignum, INTBAU, SIA and registered at REG A. |
