1 Agata Muszynska
” Agata is an architect, born in Warsaw, Poland. She has been studying at Faculty of Architecture at Warsaw Technical University /Master’s degree 2007, thesis supervisor: arch. A.Miklaszewski / and School of Architecture at University of Detroit Mercy, US. She has taken part in several architecture workshops and art performances organized by student organizations and art institutions such as Eurpean Architecture Students Assembly or Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle. For several years she was related to Grupa5 Architekci office in Warsaw. Her other working experience as an architect includes positions at SDA office in Warsaw and Merkli Architekten Zurich as well as small individual practice. She has been working on several projects including: museums, housing estates, railway station revitalization, university building, hotel, hospital and land development concepts. In year 2009 under the guidance of prof. zw. dr hab inz. arch. Slawomir Gzell she started her PhD thesis at Department of Urban Design and Rural Landscape, Warsaw University of Technology.”
2 Aleksandar Lalovic
” Starting with 2004 studied at Architectural faculty, university of Belgrade, where he obtained his Bachelor (2007) and more recently Masters Diploma (2009). Graduated in the class of Professor Djordje Stojanovic , with master thesis ìVersatile spaces ñ port of BelgradeĂ®. It is during his master studies when he cultivated his interest in complex geometry, adaptable systems, CAAD and CAM techniques. Immediately after his studies was hired by Projmetal AD architectural office, where he worked for a year and took part in multiple large scale projects simultaneously, one of which being B23 office block in New Belgrade. With a group of friends – colleagues, took part in multiple local and international architectural competitions some of which were awarded and publicized. Took part in AAG conference in Vienna and participated in ìFlank milling with KUKA robotĂ® workshop. During 2010 moves to Zurich to collaborate with KCAP architectural office.”
3 Hideaki Takenaga
” Hideaki Takenaga has Completed Master course at Yamaguchi University, School of perceptual sciences and design engineering, Japan [2005]. And, He participated in practice, Masao Yahagi Architect in Japan (2005 – 2008). Mainly, He has experience of the whole project lifecycle from basic design, execution design to execution management on housing and commercial facilities. After, He had taking a short training course on design process at the University of the Arts London Central Saint Martins in U.K. (2009). And, He participated in internship for Gianni Botsford Architects in U.K. (2010). He engaged in basic design of reconstruction housing project. His current interest is in the research into new architectural forms, made possible by digital fabrication. And, His desire is to work in an environment that allows radical research, and is able to distil this down to a practical implementation.”
4 Jesper Thøger Christensen
” Student of architecture and engineering from the department of Architecture, Design & Media Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. Finished internships at UNStudio in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and at 3XN Architects in Copenhagen, Denmark in their department for research and development into new technologies and materials.
Believe that modernism – and the Dutch approach to architecture, which has strongly influenced recent Danish and international architecture – has undermined form and design that cannot necessarily be explained in 20 seconds, but rather must be felt and experienced rather than explained. Would like to explore the field that goes beyond a pure rationalistic/functionalistic approach.
Digital design, building technology and new materials has change architecture as we know it and continue to do so. But to generate highly original solutions, the use of new materials and techniques must be thought from their inherent qualities and possibilities instead of just applying them to former ways of production and design.Ultimately using the computational power to reach designs that cannot be reached by hierarchical rational thinking and logics but only can emerge by giving any element of the design the desire to be a designer.”

5 Jorge Orozco
” Jorge Orozco is a Mexican architect who explores the potential of information technologies to generate an architectural language. His research line is mostly focused on programming languages, interaction systems, robotics and digital tectonics. He holds a Master in Advance Architecture degree from Institute for Advance Architecture of Catalonia (UPC-IAAC), where he developed a full scale prototype of a solar-powered machine for digitally-controlled fabrication on-site, Heliobot. Jorge previously worked at the design department of Variantes, Oficina de Arquitectura, a design and construction studio.”

6 Magda Osinska
” Magdalena Osinska studied Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, where she took part in a student exchange with the UDM-University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit MI, USA, and also she participated in a student training “Renewable energy” at the Danmarks Technische University in Copenhagen, Denmark. She graduated in June 2006 with a BArch WAPA Warsaw. After her studies, she worked in Paris at the Stanislaw Fiszer Studio, where she collaborated on many different national and international competitions. In 2008 she completed a diploma “Master of Advanced Architecture” with specialization in Digital Fabrication at the Institut d’Arquitectura Avancada de Catalunya (IAAC), part of the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. The subject of her final thesis was an interactive t-shirt for epileptic people, a piece of intelligent clothing able to inform a person about the approaching epilepsy attack by means of a digitally designed mechanism embedded in the T-shirt. This project was selected and featured as part of the student works at the third Architecture Biennial Beijing 2008, organized by the ABB2008, that showcases 26 of the leading schools of architecture in the world. After returning from Barcelona, she worked at the Warsaw architectural studio – Fiszer Atelier 41. ”
7 Mihye An
” Mihye is from South Korea, with backgrounds in B.S. in Industrial Design (Digital Media Track) and M.S. in Culture Technology (an interdisciplinary graduate school developing novel cultural contents based on state-of-the-art technology, her interest was focused on Media Facade and 3d Laser Scanning), in KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). Shortly practicing fine arts and filmmaking in Paris and New York between these years (2000-2008), she finally began to work as an artist and curator since late 2008, experimenting different types of settings: media installation, film, performance, novel and so on. Mihye’s major interest on the potentiality of Media Facade and differentiated accessibility toward it leaded her to apply to this program.”
8 Nikola Marincic
” Nikola Marincic studied architecture at the University of Belgrade in Serbia and graduated in the year 2009 with honours. He sucessfully participated in many local/international competitions in Serbia with a group of young friends-architects, with whom latter founds an architectural office. His architectural interests are both in theoretical and practical sphere, conceiving architecture as a complex set of critical circumstances, decisions and events in a specific timespace, where there’s no place for “isms”, but for multidisciplinary dialog and synthesis. He enjoys playing piano, exploring diverse topics of knowledge in a random fashion, and leaving things open-ended.”
