Started her professional education at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, La Neuveville followed by a Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency and Professional Degree in Architectural Drafting in Zurich. For continuous self-study, she acquired the content of the Matura Typ C, IPU Lucerne. Her interests in languages brought her to a summer school in London and to a one year stay in Canada/USA. A twelve-year employment, as staff assistant to the operations manager, with Texaco Switzerland in the 70ies, gave her the chance to work herself up in a multinational leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer | | petroleum company with the opportunity of large operations and projects. Since 1988 she built up the administration of the chair for Architecture and CAAD at ETH Zuerich, after having had further working experiences at a business consultant and in PC computer sales.She is an avid reader of selected magazines and books. Despite her training in male- and technology dominated fields, she still cares to raise the functional and moral issue, that neither science, technology nor the knowledge-race are and will be the panacea for this ailing world. |
