Mesher is a Java application that uses the ZORA libraries for dynamically creating an adaptive quad mesh on a sphere. The mesh is reacting on changes of global parameters like
the radius of the sphere
the distance of the nodes in the mesh
a floor and ceiling level cutting through the sphere
the min./max. length of the diagonals in the quad mesh
attractor planes (similar to floor and ceiling)
With the Mesher it is possible to interactivly create and optimise the structure of a wooden pavilion that is to be built for the Swissbau fair in Basel early next year.
