The Atlas of Beirut and Damascus

An atlas book of Beirut and Damascus was produced during the first three weeks of the semester. This atlas is a collection of foundational data on Beirut and Damascus that accompany us through out the semester investigating these cities. The atlas comprises of 25 fundamental topics, each to be researched, explored and presented by each student. The information collected on the each topic is represented using maps, diagrams, charts, tables, illustrations, time-lines, images. This information should always be placed within a larger context and in relation to the main political and historical occurrences.
