The work on the Atlas was produced during the first two weeks of the semester, before the field trip. With the Atlas, we took a larger view of Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta with some of the themes characteristic of this rapidly growing and largest urbanized area of the world. The aim of the work is to establish common knowledge or language concerning Hong Kong’s development and specific cultural, political, and economic condition.
