Conference venue

Conference sessions will be held in Zurich, Switzerland, at ETH Science City (also known as the ETH Hönggerberg Campus), in the HIT building:

Arrival by air

ETH Science City can be reached by taxi from the Zurich Airport in about 15 minutes. (approximate cost: 60 CHF / 48 EUR)

Using public transit, take a train one stop from the Zurich Airport to Bahnhof Oerlikon. Switch to bus 80 heading towards Triemlispital, exiting at the ETH Hönggerberg bus stop. The trip takes about 30 minutes. (cost: 6.20 CHF / 4.15 EUR) 

Arrival by train

ETH Science City can be reached by taxi from the main train station, Zurich Hauptbahnhof in about 15 minutes. (approximate cost: 30 CHF / 25 EUR)

Using public transit, take tram 11, direction Auzelg, to Bucheggplatz. Switch to bus 69 direction ETH Hönggerberg and exit at the final bus stop. The trip takes about 25 minutes. (cost: 4.10 CHF / 3.35 EUR) 

Transportation within Zurich 

Public transport within Zurich is somewhat slow but generally reliable. To get directions and time schedules from your hotel to the ETH Hönggerberg campus, or for any points within Zurich, you can use the google maps link below: Google Maps 

Note that a one-way ticket for the center of Zurich (including the Hönggerberg Science City campus) costs 4.10 CHF. These tickets can be bought directly at the machines, and they are valid for an hour on all busses, trams, trains, etc., and they include transfers. Alternatively, a corresponding day pass can be bought at the machines for 8.20 CHF. For other ticket alternatives such as weekly passes, please see the ZVV site.
