The proposal concerns the construction of temporary affordable housing on the abandoned tracks of a typology using efficient, prefabricated timber elements. Due to the fact that there is a housing shortage, unconventional and unexpected concepts, like the one proposed for this challenging, north-orientated site alongside the track deserve at least be considered and discussed.
