The traditional relation between the centres on the coast and those uphill seems to be spinned by the rapid development of the Touristic resorts on the Costa Adeje and its connected support and supply areas. How are the three centres reacting? Is there an abandonment of the traditional organisation? How does the transition towards a touristic economy take place? What is the role of immigration? How does El Freile work? Is there a policy? A plan? What is happening to agriculture?
