How does the rapid growth of Playa de Mogan influence the pre-existing hierarchy between the coastal settlement and the more important uphill small town? Is there also here a sheer cut between the service and the served spaces? What is the role of the ‘Barranco’ in structuring this development? Is there a potential for the upper part of the valley?
