Jasmine Kastani was born in Athens in 1983. She studied Architecture in the University of Patras in Greece where she received her diploma in 2006. After working two years in Greece as an architect, she moved to Switzerland where she completed her Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design under Prof. Marc Angelil, at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich). Since 2009, she has worked as an architect in Zurich and is an active member of the International Network for Urban Research and Action (INURA). Currently, she is working with Prof. Dr. Christian Schmid as research assistant.
Her interests are mainly focused on the urban phenomena and transformations in developing territories.
