The topic we call Roma Nord deals with a section of the Roman suburbia in the north the GRA,
especially in the Tiber valley and along the Via Salaria. In this area, agriculture is a very present form of land use. At the same time, population in the north of Rome is presently increasing, as the public transport system has been improved, and the houses remain less expensive than elsewhere in the city. Next to agricultural use and housing, one can find other forms of land occuption, older informal settlements for instance.
